Hints for Pizza Perfection:
- Let uncooked pizza rest at room temperature for 20 minutes.
- For best results, prepare only one pizza at a time.
- Refrigerate pizza if you're not going to bake it within one hour.
- Make sure baking tray does not touch sides or back of oven.
- Do not reheat the pizza on the baking tray in an oven.
- Freezing our fresh pizza is not recommended.
Traditional Baking Method:
- Place oven rack in CENTER position at least 6 inches from heating element and preheat oven to 425°.
- Remove wrap, place pizza (and baking tray it comes on) on the CENTER rack.
- Check pizza after 3 minutes. If bubbles appear, puncture with fork. Rotate pizza in oven for more even baking if desired. Be careful, oven is hot!
- Pizza is done when crust is golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Typical Baking Times:
- Regular crust pizza: 10-18 minutes
- Liv-N-Lite thin crust pizza: 8-12 minutes
- Remove pizza from oven, let sit for a few minutes. Cut, serve and enjoy!
Crispier Crust Baking Method:
- Place oven rack in CENTER position at least 6 inches from heating element and preheat oven to 425°.
- Remove wrap, place pizza (and baking tray it comes on) on the CENTER rack.
- Check pizza after 3 minutes. If bubbles appear, puncture with fork. Rotate pizza in oven for more even baking if desired. Be careful, oven is hot!
- After approx. 8-10 minutes, using oven mitt, pull out oven rack and gently slide the baking tray out from under the pizza so that the pizza is directly on the oven rack. Continue baking.
- Pizza is done when crust is golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Typical Baking Times:
- Regular crust pizza: 10-18 minutes
- Liv-N-Lite thin crust pizza: 8-12 minutes
- Using an oven mitt, slide baking tray back under the pizza to remove pizza from oven. If available, a wooden pizza paddle works best! Let pizza sit for a few minutes. Cut, serve and enjoy!
Baking Stone Method:
- Place baking stone on oven rack in CENTER position at least 6 inches from heating element and preheat oven to 425°. Baking stone should preheat for 10-20 minutes.
- Remove wrap, place pizza (and baking tray it comes on) on the baking stone.
- Check pizza after 3 minutes. If bubbles appear, puncture with fork. Rotate pizza in oven for more even baking if desired. Be careful, oven is hot!
- After approx. 8-10 minutes, using oven mitt, pull out oven rack and gently slide the tray out from under the pizza so that the pizza is directly on the baking stone. Continue baking.
- Pizza is done when crust is golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Typical Baking Times:

- Using an oven mitt, slide baking tray back under the pizza to remove pizza from oven. If available, a wooden pizza paddle works best! Let pizza sit for a few minutes. Cut, serve and enjoy!
Outdoor Grilling Method:
- Bake pizza only in a covered barbeque grill utilizing INDIRECT heat. Never place baking tray or pizza near an open flame.
- GAS GRILL: Preheat the grill for 5-10 minutes to approximately 375° to 400°. [If using a baking stone, preheat the stone as well. We recommend a 14" or larger baking stone]. Light only the burners that will NOT be directly under the baking tray [or stone].
- CHARCOAL: Measure out approximately 25-50 charcoal briquettes, depending on the size of your grill. Arrange them on one side of the grill. Light the charcoal briquettes-when briquettes are covered with ash, the grill is ready. [Again, if using a pizza stone, allow the stone to preheat.]
- Remove wrap, place pizza (and baking tray it comes on) on the grilling surface [or on top of baking stone if using]. Keep pizza and baking tray away from open flame! CLOSE lid of grill.
- Grill for 5-8 minutes then carefully rotate pizza (and baking tray) 1/4 turn. [If using a pizza stone, after baking initial 5-8 minutes, using oven mitt, gently slide the baking tray out from under the pizza so that the pizza is directly on the baking stone.]
- Continue grilling and rotating pizza every 5 minutes until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted. Total grilling time is approximately 20-25 minutes, depending on grill temperature.
- Carefully remove pizza and baking tray from grill using oven mitts. [To remove pizza from baking stone, we recommend using a wooden pizza paddle, or sliding the pizza back onto the baking tray.] Let pizza sit for a few minutes. Cut, serve and enjoy!
Baking More Than One Pizza:
- Place oven racks in CENTER and TOP positions at least 6 inches from heating element and preheat oven to 425°. Remove plastic wrap from both pizzas.
- Place PIZZA #1 (& baking tray it comes on) on the CENTER rack.
- Check pizza after 3-5 minutes. If bubbles appear, puncture with fork. Rotate pizza in oven for more even baking if desired. Be careful, oven is hot!
- Move PIZZA #1 from center rack to TOP oven rack. Now place PIZZA #2 (and baking tray it comes on) on the CENTER rack.
- After approximately 5-8 more minutes check PIZZA #1 (top rack) for desired degree of doneness. Remove PIZZA #1 from oven when done. (Pizza is done when the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.)
- PIZZA #2 (center rack): If bubbles appear, puncture with fork. Rotate pizza in oven for more even baking if desired.
- If you have another pizza to bake, move PIZZA #2 to TOP oven rack. If not, leave PIZZA #2 on center rack and bake until done.
- Typical Baking Times:
- Regular crust pizza: 10-18 minutes
- Liv-N-Lite thin crust pizza: 8-10 minutes
- Remove PIZZA #2 from oven. Let pizzas sit for a few minutes. Cut, serve and enjoy!
- HELPFUL HINT: You can repeat steps 4-8 for unlimited pizza enjoyment. Never bake more than 2 pizzas at one time.
